Christopher Robert Evans, born 13 June 1981, is an American actress. His acting career started with TV roles, including Opposite Sext in the year 2000. In 2005, following appearances in Not Another Teen Movie and Fantastic Four (and its sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer 2007), he was recognized for playing the Marvel Comics hero the Human Torch. Evans appeared in several film adaptations of comic books and graphic novels, like TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) as well as Snowpiercer (2013). In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he became more famous for his role as Steve Rogers/Captain American. This was a part of Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier 2014 and Captain America: Civil War. Also, he appeared in The Avengers Age of Ultron in 2015 Avengers: Infinity War 2018 and Endgame 2019. The Marvel Universe, his performance as Captain Steve Rogers and Captain America made him the top-paid actor in the world.
