Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia (Spanish to mean "Rosalia") Rosalia Vila (Spanish for "Rosalia") is an Spanish pop and flamenco singer. Involved in the margins of both traditional and popular music since her teenage years, she has also delved into different styles like hip-hop soul and trap. Pepe Haichuela, a flamenco guitarist and famous musician has described the voice of this young artist as sassy and sweet however with a bite. Her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer an Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist her 2018 follow-up El Mal Querer was a major critical and commercial breakthrough making it to the top of the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart and eventually receiving the Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd, was released in 2021. It was her third studio album. Motomami offered songwriting collaborations with many artists and producers such as Cory Henry and James Blake. The set was released in March 2022 following a performance of the song Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia has become the only Spanish artist to have performed alone on the popular program. Motomami the album by Rosalia that won the three Latin Grammy Awards also made Rosalia the first female artist to receive won the Latin Album of the Year award twice.
